One of the things that really make me think about this article, The Creative Response to a Crisis, is that there are some fundamental attitudes necessary to make any process for change to work. Starting by the fact that ‘trust’ brings tremendous results. We get surprise when we hear remarks over its positive results. The truth is that trust enhances a positive relation to build the constituency necessary for change. The constituency is built out of people and these need to be in harmony to work together and find solution to common problems. If there is no trust, progress and change is very difficult to achieve. “In surrendering some control however, traditional barrier of suspicion have broken down and a new sense of trust has been born,” (p.5) is a statement presented in the article has the most direct suggestion on how to build trust. Surrendering control translate to willingness to find solutions for the benefit of all.
