Reflecting and Connecting for Lifelong Learning: Celebrating the Accomplishments of CCT

Critical and Creative Thinking Graduate Program Open House

Tuesday, March 29, 2011
6:30-9:00pm
Room: Campus Center, Room 03-3540 (go to the third floor, then find the room off of the hallway along the front of the building)
Open to the general public and CCT community. Refreshments will be served.

For this special open house, we'll be recognizing the accomplishments of the Critical and Creative Thinking Program and acknowledging the contributions of all those connected to CCT. This event overlaps with the CCT Program 2010-11 AQUAD review, in which the program is examined by external reviewers from the wider university and academic community as an assessment of strengths and target areas for growth. Some members of the review committee will join us as we reflect on our accomplishments and discuss our work.

The session will involve commentary from part-time and other faculty about successes and challenges of teaching in their experiences and contributions to the program. If time is available, we'll also discuss some additional updates about the program and ideas for developing further the community of support across instructors.

Participants may call in via Skype. Please RSVP to cct@umb.edu for instructions.

Agenda:
6:30-6:45 Meet fellow CCTers
6:45-7:45 Introductions and discussion on successes and challenges by CCT part-time faculty.
7:45-9:00 Additional activities, discussion, and student orientation as time allows

Parking passes will be available for alums who RSVP.
An audio recording of the event can be listened to at http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/16894 within a few days after the event.

Sponsored by the CCT Network and CCT Forum.
