CCT Community Open House
Our Lives and Other Worlds VII
Engaging with Diverse Adult Populations
Monday, March 7, 2011
6:45-9:00pm, Wheatley Hall 4th floor lounge (W-4-148)
Free and open to all. Refreshments served.
Please join us as we hear presentations from alums who have extended critical and creative thinking to their work after the completion of their CCT studies. We'll discuss ways of engaging with diverse adult populations. How is critical and creative thinking in our schools and workplaces informed by drawing on the variety of experiences and perspectives diverse individuals bring to our lives.
During the session, we'll also focus on the theme of what it means to engage with diverse adult populations, including hearing from some alums who have been involved in work in this area and will share perspectives. We'll also discuss the issues involved as a whole group, drawing upon our experiences as a CCT community and beyond the CCT experience as individuals.
Alumni guests:
- Kevin Johnson, Multicultural Educator, Berklee College Office for Cultural Diversity
- Andy Reyes, Faculty at Bunker Hill Community College and current Ph.D. student
- Jeremy Szteiter, Assistant Coordinator, Critical and Creative Thinking Program
Over the evening, there will be time to meet others in the Critical and Creative Thinking community and learn more about the program.
If you can't attend in person, please consider calling in by Skype; email
