Internships for CCT students in the Brookline schools Gifted & talented program


Dr. Susan Peligian, lead teacher in Brookline's Gifted & Talented Education program, is looking for CCT students interested in internships. Sue is delighted to talk more about this unique opportunity with interested students. Sue_Peligian@brookline.k12.ma.us .

•mentors for G/T, highly motivated, talented students -- especially in upper grade

•small group, pull-out teaching with our supervision/guidance

•help develop an assessment task for G/T and high level learners

•learning style differentiation for twice-exceptional children

•design follow-up lessons from our CCT lessons that integrate other subject areas

•try out their own lessons/activities/projects

•participate in current reasearch via a CFG type of structure on G/T kids with topics like flexible grouping, advancement placement....

•curriculum development (e.g. children's literature that challenges high level readers and has appropriate content)
