CCT Community Open House: Welcome Event for the CCT Program into University College
Monday, September 10, 2012
UMB Campus Center, Third floor, room 3545.
Starting this fall, the CCT program moves from the College of Ed. and Human Development to University College. Join us at our first fall open house, a launch party to celebrate this move and learn more about University College. All are welcome, including students new to the program, guests, and others interested in CCT.
Other fall open houses are scheduled for the following Monday evenings:
October 1, November 5, December 3

Barbara Cohen retired from the City of Boston, Boston Public Schools as the Health Education Program Director this June after many years in the district. She is now taking her passion for Sexuality Education world wide "where I can touch more lives of people to normalize Sex Ed. I am happy to start SexEdConsultants where I plan to educate children through adults in Sexuality Education and make systems changes in many cities throughout the world."

Nancy Baccari ('11):

"Since graduating, I ran Teacher Services for the New England Aquarium for 16 years (1990-2006)
Earned my doctorate from Harvard University Graduate School of Education (2006, Thesis: "Teachers at the Boundary Between Schools and Museums.")
Earned multiple teacher licensures (General Science K-8, Earth Science, Engineering/Technology, Biology)
becoming a high school science teacher (2006-present: Engineering, Environmental Science, Green Engineering and Astronomy, Stoughton High School Science Department)
and a senior instructor for Cambridge College (2004-present: Teaching Project-Based Science, Aquatic Ecology, and Science and Technology for the Elementary Classroom Teacher)
Married (2005: Netta Davis, culinary historian), and am raising 2 children, Max (12) and Leah (15) in Arlington, MA.
Personal interests additional to family include making art, music and handicrafts, reading, writing, vegetable gardening, cooking, and getting out in the woods on foot or by canoe as much as possible."
