Responsibilities/Qualifications from job description


Master's degree in appropriate discipline
Three to five years working with students in an instructional and/or advisory capacity
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organizational skills, preparation for managing many of the day to day operations, such as responding to inquiries about the program, maintaining a continuing communication stream, managing the inquiry database, admissions process, communication with current & lapsed students

Prepared for developing and implementing strategies leading to enrollment growth
Prepared for developing various promotional materials
Prepared for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing and outreach activities and making adjustments as necessary
Prepared to organize alumni events and outreach activities including electronic social networking
Prepared for maintaining and updating the CCT website, developing content and enhancements to encourage engagement from visitors
Ability to work independently and organize new initiatives

Prepared to promote student development of research and study competencies, assist students needing help during their research and writing through to synthesis completion
Prepared for teaching four graduate level courses per year
Online teaching experience; prepared for participating in the development of online courses for delivery to audiences in China
Support online instructors and students before, during and following the course offering, incl. facilitate technical support and organize conference calls and manage wiki dialogs

Tier 1 Priorities

follow up with inquirers
develop list of activities that will help establish connections with other programs, which may include:
getting all online CCDE info for CCT up to date
connecting with key people in programs (meet with point person/s for LTET?)
getting feedback from students in LTET track currently enrolled in CCT courses - follow-up calls, emails

ongoing attention to 688 and 670 course and students
check-ins/help for JP and RC as needed

Tier 2 Priorities

create a schedule related to rest of the semester related to CCT Network event publicity/Renessa help
publicity materials, flyers, graphic
equipment reservation (JP)
food, RPA funds (RC and JP)
thank-you's to alum guests/commentators (JS)
check with Nina on addtl. Nov. Grad Showcase needs
start to prepare CCT News
talkshoe edits/uploads for Oct. 8
follow up with helping Allyn and Delores as requested
get personal info. updates from all alums from past few years

Tier 3 Priorities

check on ning/etc. crossposting idea from Faculty Resource lab
check on next steps with PT about TYS book
help PT on clean-out projects in prog. office - old conference papers, etc.
review and update CCDE/online instructor help pages on wiki to reflect latest experience
