Upcoming Collaborative Exploration (CE) and Optional Preview Event:
The next in the fall 2013 series of free, online
Collaboration Explorations (CE) begins the first week of October and will explore the theme
Stories to Scaffold Creative Learning (

Schedule of October online meetings: 4 Thursdays, October 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st, meeting on Google+ Hangout starting at 5:00pm Eastern time.

- Preview: For anyone with questions or wanting a chance to understand how the Collaborative Explorations work before committing to attend the full October CE, please join the October CE Preview Event, a 15-minute online session in Google+ Hangout, taking place on Thursday, October 3rd, at 5:00pm EDT. The link to enter the preview will appear on the Google+ community page here just before the session begins:

- No application is necessary for the preview event, and anyone can join; however, please visit this event page to RSVP and then check back just before the session for the link. CCT Community Open House: Our Lives and Other Worlds - presentations from alumni of the graduate program in Critical and Creative Thinking
Monday, October 7, 7:00-8:30pm, Campus Center room 2540
Please join us and hear from CCT program alums. as they present on their work and lead discussions related to extending critical and creative thinking beyond the formal program of studies. Skype participation possible to those who RSVP ahead of time to cct@umb.edu. Free and open to all, including prospective students and guests. You will also have a chance to meet and speak with program faculty, current and prospective students, and others in the CCT and university community. Refreshments will be served.
The next CCT Community Open House will be a virtual meeting on Monday, November 4th from 7:00-8:30pm EDT. Participation at a distance possible (via Google Hangout or Skype).
