CCT Community
Laura White (current CCT student) has been accepted to the Dance Exchange Winter Institute. Description: As we continue to celebrate a legacy that has pioneered a path for artists working towards change in and with their communities, and build on creative practices that connect people across age and difference, we invite you to join us in our studios and out in our community in growing our capacities as facilitators, dancemakers, and leaders in intergenerational collaboration. Together, led by Dance Exchange artists and local partners, we will participate in a daily movement practice, share collaborative practices and tools for dancemaking, intersect with Dance Exchange projects and repertory, and cultivate a deeper understanding of our role as artist-citizens.

Boston Coastline: Future Past, a "walking data visualization" produced by Catherine D'Ignazio and Andi Sutton, is currently on view at the MIT Museum as part of the exhibition Big Bang Data. This is a collaborative project that captures the future and past of the city of Boston through embodied experience. Performed in Boston in 2015, 40 participants walked parts of a virtual coastline that traced both the city's border in 1788 as well as one that is predicted for 2100 based on climate change and rising seas. For more information, see the web site.
