10/10 On October 20, Luanne E Witkowski was recognized for a lifetime of artistic and commercial achievement by State Representative Jeffrey Sanchez at a reception in herat the State House at her art exhibition in the House Offices of the State Representative. Many thanks to all those who attended and shared in this honor and celebration.
2/09 Mike Cartledge ('03) "I am in my second year as Elementary Math Resource Teacher (EMRT) in Bristol Township School District, Levittown, PA. My duties include, professional development for teachers, as well as providing materials, computer websites, and providing summaries and reulsts of standards based materials and testing. I work with teachers in the classroom as well as "pulling-out" students in small groups. This time of the year we are all gearing up for the state wide PSSA test whose results give us our AYP scores for the year."
11/08 Matthew Puma ('05) is now Vice-president of
Creative Workplace Learning. He is currently the CWL Adult Diploma Program Director and has been integrating computer technology into adult basic education since 1987. He has created the innovative Computers for the Office program conducted at the Worcester Housing Authority in Worcester, MA.
10/08 Jim Clements ('05) has been named Recipient of 2008 InaBeth Miller Award for Distinguished Faculty of the Year at the New England Institute of Art & Communications.
10/08 Jan Coe (now in Perth, Western Australia) listened live to the
1 October CCT Network event and reported:
- I could only stay until Julie's presentation ended, but I thoroughly enjoyed all the ones I heard. Technically, it was pretty good, too, with only a few muzzled/fuzzy bits. Even Lori speaking on a telephone was completely audible. I think that all of your (you, Tara and Jeremy) efforts to promote the program and a sense of inclusiveness and connection are really beginning to pay off. The CCT program events are way more 'visible' and on the radar now.
10/08 Tamami Nakashima reports that she is hoping to visit from Japan with "a couple of friends want to come with me and see CCT and the Cambridge Center for Adult Education." They "want to start some kind of an [community-education] organization." She is also trying to self-publish anecdotes of my experiences of living in America.

4/08. Barbara DiTullio and Kathy Leavitt have accepted positions as Nurse Managers at Boston Medical Center. "We are excited to be involved in the growth and development of the perioperative nursing department with the goal of providing exceptional care to the patient population served by BMC. The CCT program has assisted us in transitioning into these roles with the ability to bring new ideas and concepts to further support the nursing staff."
