[ABOUT]
Do you want more than just one or two courses in Critical and Creative Thinking but don't have the time, resources, or need for a full Master's decree?

The certificates program in critical and creative thinking may be just what you are looking for.

The Certificate program in Critical and Creative thinking requires just five Courses specifically designed to provide students with a cohesive understanding of the issues involved in teaching for Critical and Creative Thinking.

Students come from a variety of backgrounds. They include: teachers, teacher trainers, curriculum specialists, school administrators, and educators in government and industrial settings.

All classes are offered evenings from 4:00-7:00 PM or during the three-week Critical and Creative Thinking Summer Institute at the University of Massachusetts/Harbor Campus. Ample parking is available.

Entrance Requirements: Students will be admitted by the same minimum standards that now exist for Master' 8 students, i.e. a Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 or a recognized Master's degree. For students who have a lower GPA, but have been away from school for many years and have a record of accomplishment, provisional acceptance (pending passing grades in CCT 601 and CCT 602) is possible.

For more information contact: Dr. John Murray, Director, critical and Creative Thinking Program, University of Massachusetts/Harbor Campus, Boston, MA 02125, 617/287-6520.
