CCT Community
After 9/23, Peter Taylor will be teaching his fall courses from a distance, but still at the normal times. He will be at the Center for Social Studies at University of Coimbra in Portugal under a Fulbright fellowship, but continuing his teaching and administration for UMass at the same time.
Felicia Sullivan (SICW '11 and Assistant coordinator for the SICW track) starts a job as Senior Researcher at
The Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement at Tufts University. She will continue at 25% time for SICW through this fall.

Starting this fall, the CCT program moves from the College of Ed. and Human Development to University College. Join us at our first fall open house, a launch party to celebrate this move and learn more about University College, and participate an exploration of "Reflective Practice" through discussion and activities. All are welcome, including students new to the program, guests, and others interested in CCT.
On Tuesday 9/18 at 2.30-4:00pm, Peter Taylor & Jeremy Szteiter will lead a session for the Center for Innovative Teaching on their book, Taking Yourself Seriously (

Renessa Ciampa Brewer ('11) will be moving her design firm, Ciampa Creative, from a home office to the creative coop space Make/Shift, at 549 Columbus Ave. in the South End (the old Lucy Parsons Center bookstore).
